Privacy and browser data

CoG Automations provides AYCoG to help you find jobs, prepare applications and manage recruiting conversations.
What AYCoG uses
Your account details, resume, job preferences, saved answers and application history support your job search. The Chrome Connector reads page text, job URLs, page titles and form fields on the pages it works on for you, fills forms and uploads your documents under your saved permissions. Browser inventories sent by Connector 1.1.73 and later contain AYCoG work tabs, rather than your unrelated browsing tabs.
When you enable email tracking, AYCoG reads Gmail messages related to your applications. Recruiting messages and notes may also be read on job sites as part of your work. The system preserves the original unread state where supported and records unresolved restoration work.
Where it goes
Relevant page content, form fields and your supplied information go to AYCoG servers and the configured AI provider, currently OpenAI, to research jobs and decide the next step. An administrator can configure a different provider. Vercel hosts the application, Neon stores account records, WorkOS handles sign-in, and Stripe processes billing. Employers and recruiting platforms receive the applications or messages you authorize.
If you save a job-portal password, it is encrypted on the server and delivered to the connector only for the authorized sign-in. The password is not included in model prompts. It is entered on the selected job portal, which processes it under its own policies.
Use and retention
AYCoG does not sell personal data or use it for advertising. Access is limited to operating, securing and supporting the features you use. Account records stay available for your job search until you delete or reset them, subject to required billing and security records. Routine model response bodies expire after 30 minutes and settled browser command records after six hours. Pending or uncertain actions and their necessary evidence are kept until they can be safely resolved. Aggregate usage and billing records are retained separately. Hosting, database backups and AI processing follow the applicable providers' retention policies.
AYCoG's use of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Chrome Web Store User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements.
Your choices
You can pause work, turn off email tracking, change application and message permissions, remove the connector's website access, unlink Chrome or delete workspace records from Settings. Declining the browser disclosure prevents a new connection; it does not authorize any application or message. Existing work already in progress is preserved during an extension update.
